The idea of Claire Compton Designs was first created in 2008 and became a reality at the end of 2009.
Designer, Claire Compton was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. While still in high school, she attended a summer course in New York at Pratt Institute in the Fashion Design program. She then attended college at Otis College of Art and Design with the intention of studying fashion design. After learning about the diversity of other majors she changed her major to Product Design. Her main focus was on fashion accessories and that was achievable in the Product Design Department. With a great staff and great role models she was successful.
Claire Compton Designs had produced the very first design known as Petal Pockets, a handbag designed to keep you organized during a busy or relaxing day. With many more designs to come, she takes her inspiration from her surroundings and the people around her.
Claire Compton has a great support system of Family and great friends who are very much loved and would like to thank them all for their unconditional love and support.
